What We Do at GLSR

At Great Lakes Shingle Recycling we pride ourselves on keeping our environment clean and creating user friendly, affordable, "green" options for municipalities and private parties to use when they have a paving project.

When you get down to basics, Great Lakes Shingle Recycling collects, cleans, certifies and processes your shingles. We work with private parties as well as contractors to utilize the waste created by re-roofing for a better purpose than filling a landfill.

The process of recycling shingles is complex and we will work with you to educate you on how to best tear off your roof and pile the refuse for our use - reducing your expense and your impact on the landfills directly.

After you drop off your shingles and debris, we will take the time to clean and certify your used shingles. Then we will grind the shingles down for use in asphalt and other paving products that are accepted by government standards and leave behind a cleaner environment for the generations to come.
